Food Banks — keeping local food banks stocked and bringing halal-friendly hampers to families across Canada
Why It Matters

Food bank visits in Canada have hit a record high.

More people than ever are turning to food banks just to get through the month. Newcomers still finding their feet. Students stretching a loan. Seniors on a fixed income, and working families squeezed between rent and the grocery bill. Hunger here tends to stay quiet, and it carries a heavy load of shame.

CBB Canada works with neighbourhood food banks, mosques, community centres and campus pantries to keep shelves full of nutritious staples. We focus on what they run short of most: fresh produce, halal protein, and the familiar foods that let a family cook a meal that tastes like home.

A food hamper should feel like a hand from a neighbour, never a handout. So we build everything around dignity, choice and respect. The people we serve are us. Our friends, our classmates, our elders.

Share your bread with the hungry, and bring the homeless into your house.
