How quickly does my donation reach a disaster zone?
Because our supplies are already stocked and local teams are ready, aid often starts moving within the first 72 hours of a major emergency. Your gift to a live response goes out as fast as it can be done safely.
What happens to my donation if there's no active disaster?
It's never wasted. Funds given between emergencies build up our readiness, stocking supplies, training teams and getting kits in place, so we can respond the instant the next crisis hits.
How do you make sure aid reaches the right people?
We work through vetted local partners who know their own communities. They put the most vulnerable first, the elderly, children, women and the injured, and they report back on exactly how the supplies were handed out.
Will I receive a tax receipt?
Yes. CBB Canada is a registered Canadian charity and issues official tax receipts for all eligible donations, emergency appeals included.
